Advance Filter Option in MS Excel – Excel Advanced Filter ? as the name suggests ? is the advanced version of the regular filter. Firstly, you can use this when you need to use more complex criteria to filter your data set. Further, advanced Filter in Excel to create a list of unique items, or to extract specific items to a different worksheet. Moreover, you can also use complex criteria with an Advanced Filter, so it is useful when a simple AutoFilter can’t do what you need.
Sumifs, Countifs and Averageifs -Microsoft Excel is one of the most important applications to be used in the office for daily work. Firstly, a SumIFs is a function to sum cells that meet multiple criteria. Later, SUMIFS can be used to sum values when adjacent cells meet criteria based on dates, numbers, and text.
The Excel COUNTIFS function returns the count of cells that meet one or more criteria. Also, COUNTIFS can be used with criteria based on dates, numbers, text, and other conditions The Microsoft Excel AVERAGEIFS function returns the average (arithmetic mean) of all numbers in a range of cells, based on multiple criteria.
One IF function has one test and two possible outcomes, TRUE or FALSE. Nested IF functions, means one IF function inside another, which also allows you to test multiple criteria and increases the number of possible outcomes.
Testing more than one conditionIf you need to test for more than one condition, then take one of several actions, depending on the result of the tests, you can nest multiple IF statements together in one formula. You’ll often hear this referred to as “nested IFs”
The Logic AND Function function states that two or more events must occur together and also at the same time for an output action to occur.
The order in which these actions occur is unimportant as it does not affect the final result.
The IF function is used in order to check whether a condition is met and returns one value if true and another value if false.
For example, take a look at the IF function in cell C2 below. Explanation: if the score is greater than or equal to 60, the IF function returns Pass, else it returns Fail.

Pivot tables are one of Excel’s most powerful features. A pivot table also allows you to extract the significance from a large, detailed data set.
Here we will learn how to use Data Validation tools in Excel to improve the accuracy of the data in our spreadsheets. We will also learn how to ignore invalid data using data validation.
